What To Expect On Your First Visit
Your first visit with us will consist of a comprehensive oral evaluation, oral cancer screening, and a full set of diagnostic x-rays.
After completing your x-rays, your doctor will review them and conduct an examination of your teeth and overall oral health as well as charting any existing restorations.
We always strive to provide you with a teeth cleaning on your first visit. However, there are times when this is not possible. Some reasons why we would not do a teeth cleaning include when there are signs of advanced periodontal disease, an infection, or when you need a more in-depth dental treatment.
Your exam and the doctor’s diagnosis will give you a road map for restoring your oral health, and we’ll also coach you on maintaining it.
