Six years ago, when our 6 year old Jeremy at the time had a toothache, Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen worked around their schedule to squeeze him in for his first dental appointment ever. Over 15 years ago, I walked into First Lathrop Dental with severely bleeding gums. In short order they got that all under control and I’ve been trouble free ever since. They are extremely ethical and meticulous; I’m happy to be a long time customer!
I’ve been a patient at First Lathrop Dental for the past 15 years, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. The staff is consistently respectful, and my appointments are always efficient and excellent.
I started coming here for all my dental work in May of 2024 & have never gotten a better experience at any dental office I’ve been to. Starting with the first time I called asking if they were accepting new patients & then coming in & speaking to the front desk ladies (they’re all very kind, sweet & helpful). The dental assistants, hygienists & my dentist (Dr.Tran- lady) are so informative & never mind answering my questions or explaining the dental work they’re doing for me before they start on me for the day. The office also has a beautiful lobby with the most comfortable chairs & it really ties the office look all together. I can’t wait to keep coming here, they’ll be receiving five stars from me as long as I am with them (which I hope is forever)!
What Services Falls under Advanced Dentistry?
The scientific literature is vast in support of the effectiveness and safety of oxygen/ozone therapy. Ozone therapy was introduced in the early 1900’s in Europe and in the U.S. The medical community, especially in Europe has been using ozone for decades to speed up wound healing and to treat a variety of diseases. With proper application, ozone has been found to be extremely safe and free from side effects since our own bodies naturally produce ozone at the white blood cell level to kill offending micro-organisms. Ozone is a strong antioxidant and is deadly to bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.
First Lathrop Dental is committed to being both a mercury-free and a mercury-safe dental practice, and we feel it is important for our patients to know the meanings of the two terms. “Mercury-free” means we do not use tooth filling materials that contain mercury, such as amalgam fillings. “Mercury-safe” means that when we have to remove existing amalgam fillings from your teeth, we take extra precautions to protect you from exposure to mercury that is released during the procedure.
